Today is a very hot day. The fiery sun makes me sweaty and sticky. The sun makes me hot, tired, and sleepy. I can see the birds gliding across the blue sky. I can hear the leaves rustling.

Describe Popcorn

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.
Success criteria: We can do this when We can describe popcorn using our five senses.
I love popcorn. It tastes buttery and salty. It tastes delicious. It looks white and yellow and bumpy. Popcorn is crunchy when it is hot.

Why Is Cutting Down Trees Bad?

I believe that people should not cut down trees because we will not have oxygen to breathe. There will be no home for the animals and birds.
